I was running both AutoHue and FlyerCalibrate 'till I was magenta in the
face. On checking the Flyer configuration, I wondered if perhaps I was
creating this problem in the set-up. I traced the path of the sync signal,
and it is possible the problem was caused by a double termination on input 1
of the Toaster - the signal was also terminate in a TBC. Anyway, turning
termination off, and running FlyerCalibrate again seems to have solved the
problem - for the moment.
